66ers Knock Off Giants at San Jose Municipal Stadium

Inland Empire 66ers starter Josh Stewart turned in an exceptional performance against the San Jose Giants at San Jose Municipal Stadium, resulting in a Inland Empire win, 5-1. San Jose now is 7-8.
Inland Empire relied on the hitting of Joel Lee to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the 66ers on top, 2-0. For the game, Lee had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Stewart.
