The Stockton Ports got a superb performance from pitcher Tim DiSalvo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Visalia. The Rawhide won the game, 4-3. DiSalvo threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. Visalia occupies 4th place in the North Division at 42-50.

The Rawhide were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when shortstop Chris Kennedy turned a full count fastball from Luis Stoner into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Visalia a thrilling 4-3 win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Kennedy told the Visalia Herald.
