Nationals Cut Down Hillcats, 3-2

Calvin Falwell Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Potomac Nationals and Lynchburg Hillcats.
The Potomac Nationals beat the Lynchburg Hillcats, 3-2, in part because of center fielder Clint Meighen. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Mike Migliorino in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Mike Storrer took the loss. Caleb Franks finished the game for Potomac and earned his 6th save.
Nesty Bonilla, the 26-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bonilla contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Potomac up, 1-0.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Lynchburg manager Wes Parsons.
The Nationals' win now puts them at 25-24.
