Perea Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pelicans
Fans who congregated at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark were treated to extra-inning drama.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans starter Mike Wright pitched a strong game against the Down East Wood Ducks at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, leading the Pelicans to victory, 3-2. The Pelicans now have a record of 18-39.

The Pelicans procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Juan Perea. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"This wasn't a good win," said Perea. "It was a great win."
