Potomac and Myrtle Beach duked it out and the Nationals came out victorious.

The Potomac Nationals beat the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 12-9. Potomac left fielder and Vinton, Iowa, native Chris LeBlanc led the way. Potomac pitcher Joe Price got the win. He's now 2-2. Luis Cena was tagged with the loss.

Randy Riley had a big at-bat in the top of the eighth inning. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Potomac catcher hit a run-scoring single. The Nationals would go on to win the ballgame.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Riley.

The Nationals move to 30-43 with the win, while the Pelicans drop to 31-42.
