Toshio Yada pitched well, but his team, the Fort Myers Miracle, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Dunedin Blue Jays at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Andy Schenk earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Teagan Gowing recorded the save for Dunedin, his 17th of the season.

Ernesto Heredia dealt the Miracle a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Dunedin leading 2-0, Heredia hit a 0-2 slider for a run-scoring single.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Heredia.

Dunedin is now 23-44.
