Fire Frogs Suffer 3-1 Loss to Cardinals
|
In a low-scoring contest, Palm Beach pitcher Mike Crisafulli was marvelous in his team's 3-1 win. Palm Beach reliever Mike Crisafulli got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Chris Moseley was tagged with the loss. The save went to Erik Klein, number 1 for him.
Palm Beach used the timely hitting of Mike Evans to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cardinals on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Crisafulli told the Palm Beach Citizen.
The Cardinals' win now puts them at 49-58.
