The South Bend Cubs had no problem beating the Lansing Lugnuts, 16-3, at Cooley Law School Stadium. Ben Richardson led the way. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for South Bend. Savion Akande notched the win in relief.
