Great Lakes starter Mike Aby kept the Lansing hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-2. The Loons now have a mark of 39-66.

In the bottom of the third, Chad Herron delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Great Lakes center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Loons in front, 9-2.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Loons manager Kevin Thompson.
