Players Suspended in Brown Bears-Alouettes Donnybrook Monday, April 17th, 2023 After an intense confrontation, both the Brown Bears Jeremy Mapstone and the Alouettes Chad Allison were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Denver College-Honolulu College game. Jeremy Mapstone will miss 3 games, while Chad Allison was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jeremy Mapstone commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Mapstone is currently batting .163 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 80 at-bats. This season-to-date, Allison has fashioned a 0-3 mark and 5.89 ERA in 36.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .282 against him and he has logged 46 strikeouts. |
