Dixon Batters Bristol Big Time Thursday, July 9th, 2020 The Burlington Royals upended the Bristol Pirates at Devault Memorial Stadium today, thanks in large part to right fielder Burle Dixon, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Royals to a 11-6 victory. Burle Dixon flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, walked in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 15th. Dixon is currently batting .370 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. |
