Big Bat Pays Off, Pujols Player of the Week Monday, August 17th, 2020 The Dominican Rookie League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Cristopher Pujols, third baseman of the New York N (DSL) Mets 2. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .565 pace to win the award. Pujols went 13-for-23 for the week, totaled 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 2 times. For the season Pujols is hitting .261, batted in 37 runs with 4 home runs and 23 runs scored. |
