Mejia Shuts Out Red Sox 1 Saturday, July 25th, 2020 Kansas City (DSL) Royals 2 hurler Jean Carlos Mejia was at his best as he whitewashed the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 1 13-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Boston (DSL) manager Luis Arredondo. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Mejia fired a 3-hitter and totaled 13 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance. Season-to-date Mejia has rung up 7 wins and 1 loss in 9 appearances.
