Extra-Inning Win by Rangers Over Mariners
|
The Texas Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners, 5-2, in American League action at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Texas pitcher Dan Concannon had a standout performance. At 18-19, the Rangers claim 5th place in the American League West Division.
The game-ending blow was delivered by Sergio Ramirez in the bottom of the 11th. That's when he hit a 3-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ethan Sobers to win it for Texas and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.
"There's no quit in this team," said Rangers manager Josh Texas.
