Samsung and NC took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Samsung Lions powered past the NC Dinos, 11-3, at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. Mike Case belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. Dae Wone earned the win for Samsung. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 8. With the win, he raised his record to 11-2.

Wook-jin Kym made an early impact for Samsung when he stroked his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with one out in the bottom of the first, put the Lions on top, 5-0.

Kym told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.

Samsung has now reeled off 7 straight wins.
