Brewers Get Clonked by Rockies, 3-1

The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at American Family Field, courtesy of Thorvald Ptak. The left-hander helped his team stop the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-1. Ptak, now 1-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Colorado, with the win, climbs to 14-31.
The Rockies got a big at-bat from catcher Chris Schlaud. For the game, Schlaud was 1 for 3 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Colorado a 2-1 lead.
"Nice to get this one," said Ptak. "Wins have been hard to come by."
