Everything was working for Charlie Corum today at Barnstormers Stadium. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The cutter was working.

In an unforgettable performance, the 27-year-old Corum fanned 17 Barnstormers and sparked the Mmabatho Blues to a 7-2 victory over Cofimvaba. He left Barnstormers hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.

"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Mmabatho manager . "His location and command were really something."

In addition to collecting 17 strikeouts over 7 innings, Corum allowed 5 hits and 3 walks in a superlative outing.

"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Corum said with a smile.

In the current season in 14 starts, Charlie Corum has a record of 7-7 with 135 strikeouts in 111.1 innings and a 3.48 ERA.
