Scorpions LF Carrillo Gets the Cycle
Josh Carrillo punished the River City Rascals today, leading the Scorpions to a 15-11 win. In doing so, Carrillo hit for the cycle, tagging the Rascals for 4 hits in 6 at-bats.

A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season.

"Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Denver left fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes."

Carrillo also had 4 runs batted in and 4 runs scored in the game at CarShield Field.

Josh Carrillo struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Beau Sears in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.

This season Carrillo is batting .265 with 24 home runs. He has scored 55 runs and driven in 56.
