Killion Now 7-3 Following 4-1 Win
|
The Boston Red Sox locked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Houston Astros, 4-1. On the mound for Boston was right-hander Josh Killion. He played a major role in the triumph. Juan Ramirez got credit for the save for Boston. It was his 10th of the year. Boston goes to 48-30. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.
Killion allowed no runs over 7.1 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
"Josh pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Boston manager Tyler Kosakowski.
