Mets Lose to Rockies, 4-1
|
Colorado and New York duked it out and the Rockies came out victorious.
Colorado turned a good effort from starter Sean Canada into a win over the New York Mets at Citi Field. The Rockies won the game, 4-1. The Rockies go to 27-52 with the win.
Colorado used a well-timed hit by Josh Ryder to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Rockies ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Colorado manager Will Collingsworth commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
