Pimentel Slugs Twins to 8-6 Win
The Minnesota Twins trumped the San Juan Iguanas, 8-6, at Popular Bank Park. Minnesota catcher Juan Pimentel was terrific. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Picking up the save was Sean Taylor, his 5th. Minnesota leads the American League Central Division by 14½ games.

With Minnesota leading 3-2 in the top of the sixth, Pimentel hit a fastball from Chris Ross for a 2-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 5-2.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Pimentel.
