Vicuna Tags Boomers for 5 Hits
It was high-fives all around for Rogelio Vicuna at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Schaumburg Boomers. Vicuna smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 13-3 win.

"Rogelio was hitting everything," said Wild Things manager . "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Boomers manager told BNN beat writers that Vicuna "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Vicuna oversleeps next time."

Rogelio Vicuna hit a two-run triple in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

In his season totals Vicuna has 9 home runs and a .366 batting average.
