Twins Popped by Orioles, 6-3
|
Orioles center fielder Jon Reed left his mark on his team's 6-3 win over the Minnesota Twins. Reed, who is tied for 7th in the AL in triples with 5, went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Baltimore in the contest. The win elevated the Orioles to 58-50.
Baltimore took a 5-1 lead on Reed's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jahlil Phinazee in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Baltimore to the win.
"I try to not think too much," said Reed.
