Rangers Turn Back Flamingos, 6-4

Texas and Las Vegas duked it out and the Rangers came out victorious.
The Texas Rangers beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 6-4, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Teagan Peckham, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Chris Covert was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
Steve Stover was 1-3 with a walk for Texas. The 27-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single off Sergio Olvera. It was his 67th hit of the season.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Stover, "and then get after it again."
Las Vegas has now lost 5 consecutive games.
