Milwaukee 5-2 Victors at Popular Bank Park
|
Milwaukee and San Juan put this game in the books despite some rain.
The Milwaukee Brewers got a good effort from starter Sean Boscia in defeating the San Juan Iguanas at Popular Bank Park. The final score was 5-2. Boscia picked up the win for Milwaukee, going 5 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0.
Tim Hill had a big run-scoring double for the Brewers in the top of the fourth inning. With Milwaukee leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Rory Call, who finished 3rd in the AL in wins with 17 in 2042, and swatted a double to center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brewers ahead, 3-1.
"Sean is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Milwaukee manager Matt Brewers.
Milwaukee is off to a hot start at 9-2.
