The Washington Nationals grabbed a win, 17-2, over the Utah Yetis at Nationals Park. Washington right fielder Tim Boyle went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 5 runs and drove in 6. Luis Rivera picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Juan Vega suffered the loss. The win puts Washington at 11-8.

With Washington leading 14-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Boyle came up to bat against Utah pitcher Stephon Liburd. Boyle hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Nationals on top, 17-2.

"I thought we played a nice game," Boyle told the Washington Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
