Mariners Lose to Flamingos, 2-0
|
The Las Vegas Flamingos went home winners at T-Mobile Park, thanks in large part to starter Pence Viper. Viper stifled the Seattle Mariners, enabling Las Vegas to grab the 2-0 win. Kelyn Juneau earned the save for Las Vegas. The Mariners drop to 9-12, as their stumbling start to the 2050 season continues.
Nate Wear, who finished 4th in the AL in hits with 187 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wear contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Las Vegas up, 1-0.
Viper called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
