Diamondbacks Defeat Giants, 14-4
|
The Arizona Diamondbacks knocked off the San Francisco Giants, 14-4, at Oracle Park. Danny Hudson was a big reason Arizona won. The left fielder went 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. The loss puts San Francisco at 13-9.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Hudson delivered big-time for Arizona, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jim Stower. The game-changing hit put the Diamondbacks on top, 5-4.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hudson told the Arizona Times.
