Finlaw Sensational, 6-for-6 Saturday, July 2nd , 2050 It was a good day for the Nationals at Las Américas Complex as they clipped the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals 1, 15-8. It was tremendous day for Erick Finlaw, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 6-for-6. "I don't know what to call that," the Washington (DSL) left fielder told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Erick Finlaw hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the year, Finlaw has hit .514 with no home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 5 runs. View Boxscore |
