The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of New York fans at Citi Field.

The New York Mets picked up a win at Citi Field, downing the Baltimore Orioles, 4-2. On the mound for New York was right-hander Gilberto Estevez, who played a pivotal role in the win. New York now sits at 27-21, while Baltimore falls to 21-27.

New York took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Mitch Esmonde hit a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Mets.

"I feel honored to be a part of this team," said Esmonde.
