The Kansas City Royals picked up a win at Kauffman Stadium, knocking off the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-2. On the mound for Kansas City was right-hander Jose Banuelos. He played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Milwaukee 60-71.

The Royals got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Justin Croom. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Royals.

"This place was jumping at the end," Croom said.
