Perdomo Leads River Cats to 9-5 Win Over Dodgers
|
Sacramento took on Oklahoma City in front of a lively crowd.
Sacramento third baseman Edwin Perdomo helped his team beat the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 9-5. Perdomo, who is tied for 10th in the in home runs with 5, went 4 for 4 for the River Cats. Sacramento pitcher Danny Ruiz earned the win, hiking his record to 4-4. Chris Hargrove suffered the loss.
Shortstop Luis Banuelos made an impact for Sacramento, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Chris Hargrove in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Banuelos was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"Winning is the only objective," said Perdomo after the game.
Sacramento is second in the West Division with a record of 20-14.
