Athletics Suffer 4-2 Setback
|
San Diego pitcher Darryl Lawson did his part in helping his team beat the Oakland Athletics, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Lawson, now 16-10, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs.
