Doctors in Round Rock said Charlie Mitchell might not play anymore this year. The Express reliever suffered a fractured elbow during a game against the Omaha Storm Chasers and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

To date this year, he has registered 2 saves, 3 wins and 3 losses with a 3.99 ERA. Mitchell has made 25 relief appearances, worked a total of 70 innings and surrendered 66 hits. He has fanned 55, issued 26 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .248 batting average.
