Torrid July Gets Cayer FSL #1 Batter Trophy Monday, August 1st , 2039 Lakeland right fielder Tim Cayer was certainly bad news for pitchers in the month of July. He wore them out, going 34 for 94, and was rewarded with the Florida State League Batter of the Month award. He hit .362 with 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 17 runs. This season Cayer has hit at a .328 clip with 25 RBIs, 4 home runs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 39 games. |
