Cubs Win at Milwaukee, 7-2
|
Chicago left fielder Ian Happ made his presence felt in the 7-2 Cubs triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers. Happ went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Cubs now have a record of 15-41.
Lewin Diaz hit a 2-run double off Robert Gsellman in the top of the first, which put the Cubs in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Diaz had 2 singles and 1 walk, while going 3 for 4.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Diaz told the Chicago Bulletin.
