Pirates Stumble, Lose to Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays bested the Pittsburgh Pirates, 8-4, at Rogers Centre. Nick Castellanos was one of the standouts. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Toronto reliever Elvis Luciano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Cole Wilcox took the loss. With the victory, the Blue Jays record now stands at 31-26.

The Blue Jays got an important contribution from third baseman Bo Bichette, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a changeup into left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 5-1.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Bichette told the Toronto Observer.
