Indians Walk Off with 3-2 Win
|
The Indianapolis Indians had to overcome a fine performance from Omaha pitcher Daniel Lynch to grab a 3-2 win at Victory Field. Lynch allowed 2 runs over 6 innings. Richard Rodriguez got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. At 28-34, the Indians find themselves in 5th place in the Midwest Division.
The Indians relied on second baseman Kevin Kramer for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Kramer said after the game.
