Omaha starter Jackson Kowar pitched well against the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-1. The win elevated the Storm Chasers to 35-28.

The Storm Chasers took the lead in the top of the fifth. With one out, Travis Jones hit a 2-run home run off Indianapolis pitcher Robbie Erlin, putting Omaha in front, 4-1. For the game, Jones went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Jackson just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Omaha manager Brian Poldberg.
