Skeeters Deal Chihuahuas 7-0 Setback
|
Right-hander Blair Henley mesmerized the El Paso Chihuahuas while leading the Sugar Land Skeeters to a 7-0 victory. Henley went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-1. The 4th-place Skeeters raised their record to 17-21.
Jack Mayfield, the Sugar Land shortstop, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Skeeters. For the game, Mayfield was 1 for 4 with a walk.
