Binghamton designated hitter David Thompson contributed to his team's 6-5 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Thompson went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rumble Ponies. The win has Binghamton at 22-34.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Binghamton shortstop Ronny Mauricio, facing Eric Pardinho, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rumble Ponies the 6-5 win.

In postgame comments to the Binghamton Daily, Thompson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
