People's Natural Gas Field was the site for Eastern League action featuring the Altoona Curve and Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies topped the Altoona Curve by a score of 10-4. Leading the way was second baseman Edgardo Fermin. Fermin was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Rumble Ponies. Jaison Vilera, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings.

An important at-bat for Binghamton came with two out in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, Fermin hit a run-scoring double, which contributed to the Rumble Ponies win.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Fermin. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
