Albuquerque designated hitter Niko Decolati had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Sugar Land at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. Sugar Land relied on the bat of Ross Adolph to get the win. The center fielder produced a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Skeeters ahead, 6-5. For the game, Adolph had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We found a way to get it done," Adolph said.

The third-place Skeeters improved to 41-37.
