SeaWolves Get One-Run Win at Binghamton
Getting a good performance from catcher Joey Morgan, the Erie SeaWolves defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 6-5. Morgan was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk for the SeaWolves. The save went to Wladimir Pinto, number 1 for him. The first-place SeaWolves have a one-game lead in their division.

Erie used the bat of JaCoby Jones to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the SeaWolves ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Morgan told the Erie Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
