Big Day for Barger in 8-6 RoughRiders Win
Behind a fine performance from Addison Barger, the Frisco RoughRiders knocked off the Arkansas Travelers, 8-6. Barger went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the RoughRiders. A.J. Alexy, now 5-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The first-place RoughRiders have a one-game lead in their division.

Barger contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Frisco in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-2, Barger took a changeup from Peyton Remy and stroked the home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the RoughRiders to leap in front, 5-4.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Frisco manager Bobby Wilson.
