Trash Pandas Best Biscuits in Pitching Duel
|
In a tight game between the Rocket City Trash Pandas and the Montgomery Biscuits, pitcher Jason Creasy was terrific on the mound. The Rocket City right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Rocket City reliever Colten Brewer picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jack Ralston absorbed the loss. The save went to David McKay, his 2nd this season.
Brian Goodwin took Jack Ralston deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Trash Pandas on top, 2-0. In all, Goodwin had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Goodwin.
The North Division-leading Trash Pandas have a record of 34-25.
