| River Bandits Prevail, 4-2, Over Cedar Rapids | Hudson Potts was a vital contributor to the 4-2 Quad Cities victory over Cedar Rapids. The River Bandits third baseman was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Grant Gavin converted his 19th save in 21 tries. With the win, Quad Cities raised its record to 62-42.
In the top of the first, Potts pounced on a 2-1 fastball from Luis Rijo and hit a 3-run home run. It put Quad Cities on top, 3-0.
Cedar Rapids manager Aaron Sutton said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
