Hillcats Earn 6-5 Win Against Shorebirds
Delmarva center fielder Petey Halpin was sensational. He went 4 for 6 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Lynchburg beat the Shorebirds, 6-5. Lynchburg goes to 45-29. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.

Cesar Idrogo provided a timely hit. The Lynchburg shortstop delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 15th inning to put the Hillcats on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Idrogo, "and go after the next one."
