Reyes Helps Augusta Cruise to 10-1 Win
|
The Augusta GreenJackets grabbed a win, 10-1, over the Asheville Tourists at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Augusta shortstop José Reyes was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Doug Crawford, the winner, goes to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts over 8.2 innings. The win gives Augusta a season record of 26-23.
