A good performance from first baseman Peter Coleman helped the Greenville Drive defeat the Columbia Fireflies, 7-6. Coleman was 4 for 6 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Drive. Greenville reliever Fernando Becerra picked up the win, upping his record to 6-1. Charley Schumer absorbed the loss. The Drive now own a record of 37-31.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Coleman hit a fastball from Charley Schumer for a run-scoring double. The Drive, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Coleman. "Those qualities define our team."
